Tall Small Monet Teapot – Lime Green
This talented artist has been blowing glass for over two decades and holds an M.A. in glass. He has had the pleasure of studying with such masters as Lino Taliapiatra and Dick Marquis, among others. His years spent as a teaching assistant at Pilchuck Glass School gave him the opportunity to connect with many other outstanding instructors including Fritz Driesbach and Marvin Liposfsky. The piece shown here is from his aptly named “Monet Series” since the inclusion of individually created “murines” in each one suggests an array of flowers. Approximately 12”H x 7”W.

Woven Necklace & Earring Set (detail)
This elegant and unusual jewelry is created using both contemporary and traditional weave structures, some going back many centuries. The intricate turns of metal become a maze of intrigue for the eye to wander, while establishing a unified whole for this innovative artist’s wearable sculpture. Working with precious metals in the form of sterling silver, 18k gold, gold fill, and copper she sometimes incorporates gemstones, fine silver, glass, or polymer components into her pieces. The beautiful “full Persian” woven set shown here was created in sterling silver with gold fill (necklace is approximately 18.5”).

"Golden Gesture" Acrylic Painting (detail)
This talented artist has developed her own technique for applying acrylic paint primarily without brushes, achieving a rich, almost burnished surface. In the intriguing piece shown here the dramatic female figure is swathed in boldly patterned forms and possess a surreal quality suggesting another time and place. Approximately 48”H x 32”W.
